Granted Kansas is quite plain

& we have the most sporadic weather in the nation

{4inches of snow last friday night, 80 degrees today. say wha?}

there are days,
days which resemble the beautiful picture atop.
& on these days...

my heart smiles,
i have a skip in my step,
&
i feel alive.

today is one of {those days}.
